“Gene and I were in the brotherhood as Past Presidents of Paralyzed Veterans of America, he served as President before me and mentored me during my presidency. Gene was the one person who had the greatest impact on my PVA leadership journey, Gene was always a phone call away when I needed advice and had an idea to bounce off someone. Gene was also a dear friend to me and Marilou with Rosa by his side and after her passing. I am eternally grateful for having Gene in my life, RIP my friend!”
