He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Edwards and Wilma Edwards (Hunter) of Luke's Hospital; his parents-in-law, Toxie "Buck" Prine and Betty Watts Prine; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Geiger and Susan Prine; his niece Laura Lee Geiger; his nephew Kenneth Geiger; and his friend Marilyn Nelson of Olive's MawMaw.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Prine Edwards of New Orleans, LA.; his children, Dr. Amy Edwards Patterson (Sam) of New York, NY and Dr. Greg Edwards (Danetra) of St. James; and his grandchildren, Olive Edwards of St. James, Ronan and Evie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In tribute to his memory, donations can be made to the Dwayne Edwards Memorial Fund being set up at Town & Country Bank in St. James.
