He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wyatt and Leona Wyatt (Fleer); his grandson Russell Wyatt; and his siblings, Walter, Loyle Wyatt and Barbara Carter.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Wyatt Jr. (Rebecca) of St. Louis and Paula Niemann (Lee) of Affton; and his sister Marlene Dryer of Festus. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
