He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas M. Kearns, Jr. and James P. Kearns; and his parents, Thomas (Florence) and Kearns, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kearns; his children, Kathleen Ann Kearns, David Alan Kearns and John Donald Kearns; his sister Mary Ann Mackin; his grandchildren, Amanda Turner (Zach), Michael Bell (Becky Brooks), Jessica Kearns (Rob Morrow) and Adam Kearns; and his great grandchild Declan Turner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar John L. Ziegenhein Funeral Home - South County (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
