David Barcz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Barcz (Saint Louis, Missouri), who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Jan Barcz; and his aunt Kris Szudajski. He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn and Avery Barcz; his former wife Allison Barcz; his father James Barcz; his brothers, Scott (Andrea) and Tim Barcz (Sarah); and his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Lincoln, Cora, Rylee, Ainsley and Ada Barcz.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM.

“Dave was a friend to all at the 212 We had a little family. The girls were included in the 212 adventures whether it be a sports party on the rooftop or a swim party at 250 Price. I would frequently call Dave before the event to see what he would be cooking. You never wanted to serve the same thing because Dave was a fantastic and creative chef. He would come in the kitchen(his happy place) upon arrival and check on the food to see if he could make it better which he always did. RIP Jean”
