He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Morter and Grace Morter; and his siblings, Ted Morter, Chuck Morter and Darlene Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Morter; his children, Dustin Morter (Ginger), Bryan Morter and Megan Brandt (Craig); his grandchildren, Christopher Maddox, Justine Wasser, Alaina Morter, Amelia Brandt, Ava Brandt and Aaron Brandt; his siblings, Bill Morter (Yvonne) and Marlene Greenslade; and the mother of his children Linda Bowman.
