He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Vinson and Ivy Vinson (Eoff); his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Garry Vinson, Earl Smith and Thelma Mathis.

He is survived by: his daughter Anne Tindall (Eugene) of Joplin; his granddaughters, Sara Allbright (Tyler) and Allison Tindall; his great grandchild William Henry Allbright; and his siblings, Eugene Vinson of Ft. Worth, Irvin Smith of Dupo and Mary Alice Beckerdite of Raymore, Missouri..
