Claire Fleiss Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Fleiss of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman R. Fleiss; her parents, Raymond Kassing and Olinda Kassing; and her siblings, Ruth (Harold), Doerr Hooss (Robert), Audrey Wirz (Jack), Charlotte Moret, Robert Kassing and Donald Kassing.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Fleiss (Mary) of Aiken and Karen Fritsche (Craig) of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Edward Fleiss (Brigette) of Smithfield, Virginia, Jenna Barnes (Simon) of Lawrence and Sara Fritsche of Overland Park, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Grant and Blake Fleiss; her siblings-in-law, Judy Kassing and Frank Moret; and also Rev. Sean Baker. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (737 Barracksview Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Trinity Cemetery (2160 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
