It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles R. Owens of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Owens and Sophie Owens (Linker); and his siblings, Arilla Emery, James "Sandy" Owens and Earl Ray Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Opal N. Miller; his sons, James Owens (Kris) of Bronson and Charles "Rusti" Owens, II of Lansing; and his grandchildren, Vincent Barletto, Nick Owens, Chantz Owens, Taylor Owens and Sydney Owens. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and the limitations of gatherings a memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Charles R. Owens will be held at a later date to be announced.
