Caroline A. Cordia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline A. Cordia (Saint Louis, Missouri), who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin B. Johnson and Rose A. Johnson; her siblings, Orville Johnson, Erwin Johnson (Helen), Raymond Johnson (Darlene), John Johnson (Dolores), Rose Marie Basso (Sam), Martin Johnson, Thomas Johnson (Evelyn) and Joan (Norman); her son Paul Cordia; and her grandchildren, Jacob Cordia, Haylie Cordia and Sienna Cordia.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Eugene Cordia; and her sister-in-law Millie Johnson. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A Mass was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (4556 Telegraph Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Mater Dei Catholic High School 900 North Mater Dei Dr. Breese, Illinois 62230.
