She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Robinson and William E. Cook, Sr.; her brother William E. Cook, II; her nephew James E. Cook, Jr.; and her husband Leon Givens, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Monica Lynn Brown Liddell, Amber Nicole Givens, Byron Anthony Brown (Carita) and Diego Sebastian Brown (Taylar); her grandchildren, Kittrel Braselman (Trynai), Mason Brown, Tia Liddell, Taylor Liddell and Tori Liddell (Winston Moore); her great grandchildren, Josiah O'Neal, Ethan Moore, Joleigh West, Auden Vaultz, Harlynn Vaultz, Houston Favell, Kolton Braselman, Kinsley Braselman and Emory Nolan; and her siblings, James E. Cook, Sr., Melodie Garner and Gaile Garner (Cynthia). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Layne Renaissance Chapel (7302 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63136). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (2101 Lucas and Hunt Rd, St. Louis, MO 63121).
