He was predeceased by: his former wife Judy. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Douglas Maitz, Jeffrey Maitz (Michele), Charles Maitz (Elizabeth), Christopher Dillon (Susan), Amy Boyle (Shane) and Andrew Westerfeld (Katie); his grandchildren, William, Cadence, Charlotte, Sloane, Gabriella Maitz, Sean, Annie Dillon, Molly, Maura, Kate Boyle, Jocelyn and Maya; and his siblings, Lee Scheuring (Egon), John (Donna), Frank (Marki) and Tony Maitz (Michelle). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
