With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl L. Thornton (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl L. Thornton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Evans and Lorene Thornton (Graham). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thornton (Harmon); his daughters, Sheri Schomburg (Brian Hessling) and Kim Rovin (Jay); his grandchildren, Brenna, Hannah Schomburg, Mackenzie, Reese and Lainey Rovin; his brother William Thornton (Jan); his brother-in-law Cliff Harmon; his niece Karen Hoover (Mike); his nephew Matt Harmon (Amanda); and his friend Don Lloyd (Pam).
Due to COVID-19, a private, gravesite service with full military honors will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17, 1pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
