She was predeceased by: her close friend Joseph Smith; and her parents, David Cartun and Sylvia Cartun. She is survived by: her siblings, Arlene Appel of Miami and Brona Cartun of Schaumburg, Illinois.; her nephews, Michael and David Appel; her niece Chloe Kanter; and also Cameron Stiles.
