He was predeceased by : his daughter Julie Fitzhenry; and his parents, Arthur W. Kawell and Edna Kawell. He is survived by : his close friend Rosemarie Buerck; his children, Tara Garcia and Erin Kawell (Ivan Stoev); his grandchildren, Jessica Cochran (Chad), Evan Blust (Tammy), Justin Fitzhenry (Breanna) and Auguste Cribbs; his great grandchildren, Tayva and Zelana; and his sister Carol Ellis.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

I used to go to their house and play. I remember the last time I saw Arthur in 1955 he told me he was going to become a dentist. I'm very happy that he had such a wonderful life. God bless him.
