He was predeceased by: his grandfather Michael Moore; and his great-uncle Chris Lawhon. He is survived by: his parents, Aaron Simmons and Katelyn Lawhon; his grandparents, Jennifer, James Nolan, Tammy Shaw, Scott Labrozzi, Eric Lawhon and Steve Simmons; his great-grandparents, Janice Buol (Don), Tanya Moore, Carol Lawhon and Randy Simmons; his great-great-grandparents, Velma Spalding and Dorothy Larkin; his aunts and uncles, Tyven Schwamp, Caden Croteau, Jordan Woolard (Stephen), Tyiese Santos, Charity Simmons, Brentlee Simmons, Michael Nolan, Dayton Drennen, Rylee Nolan, Stacy Hartley, Lindsay Buol-Butler, Kaleb Lawhon and Linda Kretzer; and his pets, Marley, Cheeto and Blue. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other extended family.
