Winona LeDoris Christensen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2024, at the age of 91, Winona LeDoris Christensen of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Winona is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Winona's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Hinkle and Beulah Hinkle; her spouse Laurel Christensen; and her brother Wendell Hinkle. She is survived by: her children, Brooks Christensen (Carmen) of Humble, TX and Charlotte Mitchell (David) of Willard, MO; her grandchildren, John Mitchell (Jaci) of Bella Vista, AR and Molly Grellner (Garrett) of Springfield, MO; and her sister-in-law Virginia Hinkle of St. Joseph, MO..

The family has requested for memorial contributions to be made to Freudenthal Hospice in lieu of floral arrangements.
