She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Wood; her husband Jack King; her mother Hazel Wood-Wallace (Jack King); and her sisters, Verna Rose Cleary, Florence Kobett, Pauline Rockwell and Mildred Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy King (Kelly) of Mountain View, AR and Gayle Pearl (Stuart) of Clarksdale, MO; her grandchildren, Joshua King (Jen), Nikie Carroll (TJ) and Rodney Pearl (Jen); and her great grandchildren, Zeven, Layla King, Gage Eades, Summer, Jaycee Carroll, Draven Johnson, McKenzie, Trenton and Heavenly Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
