He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley W. Hoover and Nina A. Smith (Cox). He is survived by: his children, Robert, Marilyn and Denna; his wife Shirley Ann Cook; and his siblings, Jerry Hoover and Janet. He is also survived by 3 children; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
