He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. Jung and Ada M. Jung (Heller); and his brothers, Marvin Jung and Byron Jung. He is survived by: his children, Anne Jung-Mathews (Phil), Angie Chapman (David) and Aaron Jung; his grandchildren, Elena Davis (Taylor), Nicholas Kulig, Michael Kulig, Samuel Chapman (Grace), Lewis Chapman and Anne Chapman; and his great grandchildren, Winona Davis, Evan Davis, Cole Davis, Theodore Chapman and Francesca Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2618 Seneca St, St Joseph, MO 64507).
