It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Porchet in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Helen. He is survived by: his children, Wanda Ringot (Charlie), Robert Hines (Amanda) and Marcus Steidel (Betsy); his granddaughter Joan Thomas (Wes); his great grandchildren, Tylee Johnson, Lanie Johnson and John Thomas; and his great great grandchild Oakley.

“So very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. I have had many memories and cherished conversations with him. He was a good man. I was there when he first became sick in 2015, I remember it so very vividly. He was in the hospital room next to my father. I was over talking to Carol when Wayne coded. I sat there holding Carol as the nurses worked to resuscitate him. It has been a long road for him ever since. Hugs to you Carol. He will be missed. Hopefully, he is enjoying fishing again in heaven.”
