She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosie Turpin and David Birchfield; and her children, Matthew VanVacter and Dawn Renee. She is survived by: her husband Donald VanVacter Jr.; her children, Deborah Flores (Victor) of St. Joseph, Sherri Gutierrez of St. Joseph, Tonya VanVacter of St. Joseph and Aaron VanVacter of St. Joseph; her brother David Birchfield Jr. of Robinsville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Heflin (Bobby) and Michelle Yelton (Greg). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
