Walter Lee left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Ashler and Minnie Ashler (Bywater); his siblings, John Jr. (Pam) and Barbara; his nephew Christopher Ashler; his grandparents, Oliver, Emma Ashler, Walter and Minnie Mae Bywater; and his close friend Doris Kessberger.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Jr. and Veronica Brown; his sisters, Connie Cockrum, Bonnie Giseburt (Ned) and Rita Boyer (Alfred); his uncle Omer Ashler; and his friend Amanda Kennedy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Home Baptist Church (10151 SW Bluff Rd, St Joseph, MO 64504).
