We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 98, Verba Massey of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Verba shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Verba farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Richter and Ona Richter (Bond); her siblings, Roscoe Pete Richter and Nadine Delzeit; and her son Paul Douglas Massey Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Wilson Massey; her children, Roger Massey (Sue), Janiece Niemann (Jimmy Dallas) and Lois Massey; and her children-in-law, Dale and Ida Massey St. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren & 8 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests donations be made to the Make A Wish Foundation MoKan.
