We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2024, at the age of 91, Velma Jean Young of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeptha Rogers and Mary Rogers; her husband John H. Young; her sons, Rick, Delbert Young and Rob Macpherson; and her siblings, Don, Bobby Rogers, Ruth Jones and Edna Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Rohwer (Danny), Dennis Young (Velma) and John Young (Jane). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; twenty-four great-great-grandchildren plus many step and foster grandchildren.
