He was predeceased by: his father Robert William. He is survived by: his wife Jona Adkins; his daughter Talena Griffith; his grandchildren, Blayze Griffith and Blakley Griffith; his brothers, Robert Schneck and James Schneck (Julie); his mother-in-law Wilma Adkins; and his siblings-in-law, Dana Schuster (David), Robbie Adkins (Lisa) and Deron Adkins (Jody). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angels Veterinary Clinic in Savannah.
