He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pankiewicz and Josephine Pankiewicz (Klein); and his siblings, John, Joseph, Margaret Hager and Thomas Pankiewicz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Pankiewicz (Teresa) and Marilyn McClure; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Hager and Cathy Pankiewicz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
He requested that any memorials be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Boys Town, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
