He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar "Skiv" Carlson and Pearl Carlson (Fink); his in-laws, Clarence and Ebba Holm; his brother N. Gene Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, Richard "Dick" Laue, Merlyn Holm and Mardell Holm.
He is survived by: his wife Linda F. Holm; his children, Pamela Clary (Marty) of St. Joseph, MO, Candess Harman of St. Joseph, MO and Chad Carlson (Cailey) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Derek Harman (Roxanna), Lindsey Horvatic-St (Jacob), Blake Clary, Dalton Harman (Lauren), Tennyson Clary, Chaelee Harman, Molly Carlson, Chiara Harman, Chalin Harman and Macormick Carlson of St. Joseph, MO; his great grandchildren, Destinee Ramsey, Natalee Ramsey, Baylee Harman and Luke Harman; his sister Beth Laue; and his sister-in-law Janet Carlson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Freudenthal's Hospice or Pregnancy Resource Center.
