It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tamara S. Norris of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Given the lack of local funding, but recognizing that Cedar Rapids is "Sister-City" of Prague, Czechoslovakia, Tammy personally called Pavel Bém, then mayor of Prague, and requested assistance which led to their meeting and subsequent hundreds of thousands of dollars donated by the citizens of Prague for the library reconstruction.
