She was predeceased by: her parents, Retha Lewis and Donald Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Summers; her children, Stacey Wilson (Tommy) of Alvin, TX, Shawn Summers (Donna) of Deer Park, TX, Jared Summers (Enguady) of St. Joseph and Kevin Summers (Ashley) of Gallatin, MO; and her siblings, Nina Beaver (Doug) of Diamond, MO, Beth James (Eddie) of Scotland, MO, Ed Lewis (Sarah) of Moberly, MO, Kirk Lewis (Becky) of Joplin, MO and Daniel Lewis (Jodeana) of Webb City, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
