He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas (Tommy) and Claudia Lynn Turner (Lacy). He is survived by: his wife Katherine LeAnn Turner (Atkin); his children, Molly Atkin, Elizabeth Turner (AJ), Victorya Turner (Matt), Zarik Turner (Kaleigh) and Jeremiah Turner; his grandson Brayden Hogman; and his siblings, Tommy Turner (Michelle), Jeremy Turner (Nicole), Sabrina Turner and Melissa Christopher (Anthony). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
