With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Dale Lawrence of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Highland Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Wyeth Marshall and James Fielding Dale; and her brothers, James Dale, Thomas Dale and John Dale.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Scott Lawrence (Hirono) of Tokyo, Japan, Philip Archer Lawrence III (Pamela) of Woodbury, Minnesota and James Dale Lawrence (Stephanie) of Kansas City, Missouri.; her sister Leila Dale Hicks; her sister-in-law Roxanne Dale of St. Joseph, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Madeline (Alex), Hootie (Grace), Oscar, Ella, Maizie and Charlotte; and her great grandchild Sophia.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506).
