He was predeceased by: his wife Anita K. Thompson; and his parents, Arthur Thompson and Nancy Thompson. He is survived by: his son Scott Allen Thompson, Jr. (Atira Ruecker); his grandchildren, Hayzlee, Brysten and Deyzine Thompson; and his siblings, Julie Shepherd (Elton) and Brian Thompson (Janel).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
