He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Woodbury and Vera Woodbury (Lamb); his wife Alice Woodbury; and his son-in-law Robert Dodson. He is survived by: his children, Mark Woodbury (Karen), Cole Woodbury (Ingrid) and Traci Dodson; his grandchildren, Robbie Dodson (Lindzy), Luke Dodson (Sarah), Kylie Dowell (Jason), Ross Woodbury (Amy), Nick Woodbury (Ryan Coleman), Alex Woodbury (Jordan Wallace) and Bailey Woodbury; his great grandchildren, Elliot Dodson, Joey Dodson, Avery Dowell, Owen Dowell, Archer Woodbury, Skyler Laun, Maddox Wallace and Jamison Wallace; and his brother Reid Woodbury.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wyatt Park (2623 Mitchell Ave, St Joseph, MO 64507).
His leadership extended into various civic roles, such as President of Rotary Club #32, where he also served as a District Representative to Rotary International and was lauded as a Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow.
