It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rocky Dean McGeorge of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Rocky Dean departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rocky Dean. Though Rocky Dean may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Edwin McGeorge and Reva Ann Gregory; and his sister Candace Keithley. He is survived by: his wife Paula Ritter; his sons, Tony Ritter (Kelly Phelan) and Mitchell Crump (Tessa); his granddaughter Hallie Law; and his siblings, Dixie Glaub (Dan), Carl McGeorge (Julie) and Sherri Ruskin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Simplify Cremations & Funerals (2335 St Joseph Ave, St Joseph, MO 64505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
