He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Carpenter (Rodney) of St. Joseph, MO; and his grandsons, Jacob, Jonathan Carpenter, Jason Skeen and Christopher Melton. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
