It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard LaVerne Benedict of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Keytesville, Missouri, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Benedict and James Benedict; his wife Jeaniece Marie Benedict; his son Richard Benedict; and his siblings, John Benedict, Linda Gunn and Helen Claycomb.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Benedict (Jenifer) and Kevin Benedict; his grandsons, Cameron Benedict (Amber), Kodi Benedict (Coral) and Kyle Benedict (Gabi); and his siblings, Jim Benedict (Kim), JoAnn Wilcoxson and Donna Clark. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
