He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuer Cholthok and Agok Cholthok (Doung). He is survived by: his children, Nhial Manuel, Nyidhal Manuel and Ayen Manuel; his aunt Assyia Madit; and his cousin Akuch Kuch.

The family requests contributions to Richard's Funeral Fund.
