He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Jones and Betty J. Jones; and his daughter Charissa Michelle Jones. He is survived by: his wife Cindy DeSpain; his siblings, Owen L. Jones (Pati), Francie R. Archdekin (Joe) and Cecil W. Jones (Melinda); and his children, Crystal Linder (John), Cherie Thompson (Derek), Rex Jones II, Tiffany Stanton (Walt) and Aaron DeSpain (Emmalee). He is also survived by several grandkids, nieces and nephews and three great grand children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
