He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia; his brother Melvin (Floyd); his son Christopher; and his father Phillip Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Jeff Saverino (Marnie); his stepdaughter Kim Lux (Roger); and his siblings, Everett Saverino, Ron Saverino (Donna), Steve Saverino (Leslie), Mimi Verhaeghe (Gary), Becky Dahl (Curt) and Angie Moates (Jay). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
