He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Thomas; his children, Clay Wesley Thomas and Kelley Kathleen Thomas; his grandson Sam Thomas; his siblings, Kathryn, Bill Grace, James Thomas and Sydney Thomas; and his son-in-law Craig Everly.
He is survived by: his father Howard Thomas; his wife Susan Alford Thomas; his children, Traci Anderson, Laura Nelson (Tommy), Stephanie Everly (Scott), Patrick Andrew Thomas (Rebekah), Kathryn Allison Granger (Charles) and Douglas Alford Thomas (Katie); and his grandchildren, Joseph Thomas, Ridge Nelson, Jake Thomas, Kit Pittrich (Nelson), Katie Parker (Thomas), Jane Everly, Liz Everly, Sara Thomas, Cassidy Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Susie Watson, Charlie Thomas, Calvin Watson, Gigi Thomas, Annie Thomas, Mac Thomas and Hank Watson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Noyes Home for Children.
