She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Symington and Robert Symington; and her siblings, Margie Boatwright, Dorothy Lee Bradley, Virginia Scroggins, Gloria Jean Shaver, Betty Jo Liu and Larry Symington.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd "Alex" Canterbury; her close friend Buddy; her children, Ann Hughs of St. Joseph, MO, Misty Jones (Vernon) of Atchison, KS, Rolanda Fuemmeler (Frank) of St. Joseph, MO and Charles "Chuck" Dunlap (Miranda) of Maryville, MO; and her sister Jonna Clark (Rick). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Keys Christian Fellowship (6002 S 9th St, St Joseph, MO 64504).
Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Center or American Heart Association.
