We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 73, Marilyn Kay Koch of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fathers, Charles Duryea, Jr. and Eldon Koch; and her brother Dennis Duryea. She is survived by: her husband Eldon Koch; her children, Father Jason Koch of Montrose, MO, Jamie Koch (Cheryl) of St. Joseph, MO, Sheri Barnes (Marvin) of St. Joseph, MO and Vicki Brushwood; her siblings, Ron Duryea (Sharon), Don Duryea (Beth), Greg Duryea (Lesa), Merle Duryea (Rose Mary), Debra Meyer (Gary) and Kay Lynne Gabb (Marvin); her grandchildren, Christopher, Austin, Bethany, Theodore'Teddy', Levi, Rebecca, Samantha, Andrea (Brett), Martha, James (Alejandra), Tori, Sean, Cheyenne, Gemma, Gretchen, Zetta and Amelia; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Benjamin and Joshua; and her sister-in-law Joyce Duryea.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (5810 King Hill Dr, St Joseph, MO 64504). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
