(Ruhnke) Swartz of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Wathena, Kansas, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Ruhnke, and Paul Ruhnke, Sr.; her husband Perry Swartz (Benny); and her siblings, Carmelita Sinclair, Alice Brown and Paul Ruhnke, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Carol McKittrick of Topeka; and her nieces and nephews, Connie and Donnie Whitsell of Easton. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - St. Joseph (4715 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran or donor's choice.
