She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Hagerty and Verietta Faye O'Connell (Potter); her son Stephen Paul Wells; and her brother Edwin Dale Hagerty. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Wells; her daughter Lacy Shipley (Troy); and her grandchildren, Mason and Malie Kaye Shipley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests all do a random act of kindness for others in Kaye's honor.
