Though Leona Ilene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leona Ilene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Still and Everett Still; and her husband Wilbur Stephens. She is survived by: her son Jerry Stephens (Brandi Moutrey) of St. Joseph.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Zoar Cemetery (2103 McLain St, Cainsville, MO 64632).
