We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to LaVeta Ellen Mollus of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Fillmore, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to LaVeta's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration LaVeta has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Proffit and Ermile Proffit; and her siblings, Charles, Dean, Gerald and Mary Lou (Eugene Mollus).
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Mollus (Stacey), Linda Kennedy (John) and Dawn Andrews (Matt). She is also survived by many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to United Cerebral Palsy (3303 Frederick Blvd. St. Joseph, Mo. 64506) In memory of LaVeta Mollus.
