He is survived by: his siblings, Marcella Zumbrunnen and Marvin Nickell; his children, Kirby Nickell and Kimberly Springer; his grandchildren, Jonathan Nickell, Kelly Moore, Denae Sullivan, Brandie Newman, Amanda Hansen, Jenny Nickell, Claire Gray, Carly Springer and Matthew Springer; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Nickell, Genevieve Nickell, Andrew Moore, Addison Moore, Patrick Sullivan, Payton Ballinger, Dalton Ballinger, Levi Newman, Ben Newman, Aidan Newman, Makenna Newman, Lindsey Hansen and Mia Hansen.
The family asks for donations to the Red Cross and Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
