He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Gorbet; his children, Steve Gorbet, Cheryl Surls, Kristin Spencer, Rick Nicoll and Joanna Anderson; his grandchildren, Brittany Rifel (Ben), Chaz Lee Nicoll and Demore Turner; his great grandchildren, Greyson Rifel, Jayden Rifel, Mila Nicoll, Layla Rose Nicoll, Elijah and Zerlina; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Story, Kent Meilich and Dale Clark (Tammy).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506).
