He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Minnie Hayse (Nabower); and his sister Norma Derr. He is survived by: his children, John Scott Hayse of Denver, CO, Cristy Lockwood (Jeff) of Knoxville, TN, Kim Burgess (Gary) of St. Joseph, Eric Schlundt-Bodien of Casper, WY and Meredith Colson (Jeremy) of Savannah, MO; and his sister Mary Reinhardt. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
